The New York Mets are going to have to get creative this off season according to General Manager Brodie Van Wagonen.  The team is pushing the limits of the luxury tax threshold.

With few financial resources, how is the team to fill its holes?  This is where the reativity enters.

The Mets do have some depth in their organization at Shortstop.

Amed Rosario had a very good season for the team.  His bat is developing nicely after a slow start in the majors.

The team also have two prospects ranked in the top 100 prospect lists.  These two players could project to be the starting Shortstop in Flushing.

With names like Betts and Lindor on the market, it might be in the Mets best interest to pursue them with some of their depth.
