Spence Dinwiddle is set to earn $34 million on his present contract. To maximize the payouts on it, he is going to tokenize his future earnings. There is no word how much of the contract he will tokenize but it is going to be a portion.

Tokenization allows a payment stream to be securitized. Dinwiddle is going to sell a future portion of his earnings for cash upfront. This will be done through a smart contract which will ensure payments made to the token holders.
