Saint Blaise's cake [Eng][Esp] | My Actifit Report Card: February 3 2024

Today is the day of San Blas and we eat roscón. Again.

The beginning of the year is full of festivities that give you the perfect excuse to go on and on eating sweets, and I find no problem with that.

For this date it seems to me that the dessert in question is a bit simpler, without filling. But pastry chefs are there to satisfy the craving clientele and everywhere you go in the city you keep getting the best versions of this traditional dessert.

Hoy es día de San Blas y se come roscón. Otra vez.

El principio del año está lleno de festividades que te dan la excusa perfecta para seguir y seguir comiendo dulces, y yo no encuentro ningún problema en ello.

Para esta fecha me parece que el postre en cuestión es un poco más sencillo, sin relleno. Pero los pasteleros están para satisfacer a la clientela antojada y en todos los lugares de la ciudad sigues consiguiendo las mejores versiones de este postre tradicional.

One more day dawns cloudy in zaragoza, this city looks like a version of Silent Hill during the winter, if we take out the most central places full of lights and decorations, of course.

However I like that environment, maybe more to see it from the window than to walk it, but with that excuse I have been many days without going out, so I will have to resume routines.

The truth is that after midday and everything is still so gray is curious, because when the sun comes out here, it is noticeable in all its splendor.

Pero antes de eso, un poco de actividad claro. Hay que ganarse el derecho a disfrutar de ese festín de calorías.

Aunque la verdad, ha sido un paseo corto, habrá que compartir el roscón.

Un día mas amanece nublado en zaragoza, esta ciudad parece una versión de Silent Hill durante el invierno, si quitamos los lugares más céntricos y llenos de luces y adornos, claro.

Sin embargo me gusta ese ambiente, quizá más verlo desde la ventana que caminarlo, pero es que con esa excusa he estado muchos días sin salir, así que habrá que retomar rutinas.

Lo cierto es que pasar de medio día y que todo siga tan gris es curioso, porque cuando sale el sol por aquí, deja notarse en todo su esplendor.

I was able to browse the platform and found the surprise that the next event: the BuzzParty 2024 "Walk Bridges - Build Bridges" of @buzzparty is already starting to close ticket sales. I almost missed out on one, and look I already got my ticket to Hamburg days ago. 🤣

You let things go by, immersed in your daily responsibilities and when you have a moment of calm, bam, time has flown by without warning!

Anyway, I hope to be able to attend the activities that are being organized and understand a little more this universe from the perspective of others with more experience.

Knowing the city of Hamburg awakens my interest a lot, a destination that I had in mind for a long time, the truth is that I never considered that I would decide to go at last for a Hive event, but I am very grateful for the initiative and the impulse.

Above all I hope to taste delicious food.

Me ha servido para curiosear cositas en la plataforma y encontrarme con la sorpresa de que el próximo evento: the BuzzParty 2024 "Walk Bridges - Build Bridges" de buzzparty comienza ya a cerrar la venta de entradas. Casi me quedo sin una y eso que tengo ya el pasaje para Hamburg desde hace días. 🤣

Uno va dejando pasar ls cosas, sumergido en las responsabilidades cotidianas y cuando tienes un momento de calma, ¡pum, el tiempo a volado sin avisar!

En fin, que espero poder asistir a ls actividades que están organizando y entender un poco más este universo desde la perspectiva de otros con más experiencia.

Conocer la ciudad de Hamburg despierta mucho mi interés, un destino que hace tiempo tenía en mente, la verdad es que no considere nunca que decidiera ir al fin por un evento de Hive, pero agradezco mucho l iniciativa y el impulso.

Sobre todo espero probar comida deliciosa. ☺️

I was quite far away from my usual walking areas, I found a house that had a lemon tree in its garden, what a thrill it gave me, something quite basic but that brought back memories, because in my childhood home we also had lemons. It's nice to go out to the garden and have that at hand.

But today is not a day to eat lemons, today we eat roscón and this one we tried was more than good.

Ya bastante alejada de mis zonas habituales para caminar, me encontré una cada que tenía en su jardín un limonero, qué emoción me dio, algo bastante básico pero que me trajo recuerdos, porque en mi casa de la infancia también teníamos limones. Da gusto salir al jardín y tener eso a la mano.

Pero hoy no es día para comer limones, hoy comemos roscón y este que probamos estaba más que bueno.

The dessert in question was filled with truffle, which is cream with chocolate. It was not overly sweet, something that is very appreciated and also, the dough was super soft and fluffy. A total success.

This is one of those that comes with little surprises and well, I like to try to get the figurines even if it means I have to pay for the next one, but if it's just as good, it doesn't matter.

There was a little airplane that I loved. I used to collect airplanes when I was little. More memories for this day.

Anyway, I say goodbye with the pleasure of tasting this marvel after having resumed a nice walk through the fog of the city. Enjoy your meal!

El postre en cuestión estaba relleno de trufa, que es nata con chocolate. No estaba excesivamente dulce, algo que se agradece mucho y además, la masa estaba súper suave y esponjosa. Un acierto total.

Este es de los que viene con sorpresitas y bueno, a mi es que me gusta intentar conseguir las figuritas aunque eso signifique que tenga yo que pagar el próximo, pero si está igual de bueno, eso no importa.

Salió un pequeño avioncito que me encantó. De pequeña solía coleccionar aviones. Más recuerdos para este día.

En fin que me despido con el gusto de probar este maravilla después de haber retomado una agradable caminata entre la niebla de la ciudad. ¡Buen provecho!
