Walking galleries [Eng][Esp] | My Actifit Report Card: February 18 2024

Yesterday was a good walk, although today I walked a similar distance, yesterday I had more fun during the walk and I was able to take more pictures, so I preferred to share the previous activity.

Besides, I think I enjoy morning walks more, at least on weekends. During weekdays, walking at the end of the day has a liberating effect, to say the least.

But walking on days off in the mornings is invigorating, especially if the first stop happens to be Matisse Rivercafe, a specialty coffee shop that roasts its own beans, which I often pass by on the way ordering a coffee to go.

It was a pleasant 14 C with little wind and lots of sun, so a cold coffee was the best accompaniment, the cold brew had already finished but they prepared me an American filter coffee with ice of Honduran origin that was very good.

Ayer fue una buena caminata, aunque hoy camine una distancia similar, ayer me entretuve más rato durante el recorrido y pude hacer más foticos, así que preferí compartir la actividad anterior.

Además, creo que disfruto más los paseos en la mañana, al menos cuando es fin de semana. Durante los días laborables, caminar al final de la jornada tiene un efecto liberador, por llamarlo de alguna manera.

Pero caminar los días libres en las mañanas resulta vigorizante, sobre todo si la primera parada resulta ser Matisse Rivercafe, una cafetería de especialidad que tuesta su propio grano, por la que muchas veces paso de camino pidiendo un café para llevar.

Hacía unos agradables 14 C con poco viento y mucho sol, por lo que acompañaba mejor un café frío, se había acabado ya el cold brew pero me prepararon un americano de filtro con hielo de origen origen honduras que estaba muy bueno.

After walking around the Basilica del Pilar, admiring the views from the bridges that I never get tired of, I found a change in the exhibition that is being presented in La Lonja of Zaragoza. They are exhibiting a journey through the 50 years of the Aragonese artist Hermógenes Pardos, whom I did not know but I was very pleased to discover.

It is always nice to walk around the exhibitions in La Lonja, look at different exhibits and admire its ceiling, which is always impressive to me.

I took some pictures at the beginning but then I got lost among the works and did not document much more, until the end, when I came across a wonderful painting of the Pilar, I thought it was wonderful, I definitely wanted to share it.

Tras dar algunas vueltas alrededor de la basílica del Pilar, admirando las vistas desde los puentes de la que nunca me canso, me encontré con un cambio en la exposición que están presentando en La Lonja de Zaragoza. Exponen un recorrido a los 50 años del artista aragonés Hermógenes Pardos, a quien desconocía pero me gustó mucho descubrir.

Siempre es agradable dar una vuelta en las exposiciones que hay en La Lonja, mirar exposiciones diferentes y admirar su techo, que siempre me resulta impresionante.

Hice algunas fotos al principio pero luego me perdí entre las obras y no documenté mucho más, hasta el final, cuando me encontré con un maravilloso cuadro del Pilar, me pareció súper bonito, sin duda quería compartirlo.

One thing I had pending being in this area of the old town, was to go to the tourist office to check if they had already updated the Gastronomic Map of the city, a map marked with several restaurants in the city, which I always like to check to not miss the updates.

But they still have available to the public the one corresponding to the year 2023, I don't really know when they will update it or if they plan to do it, I forgot to ask although most likely it will be when we are closer to the festivities of Pilar, which is when there is more tourism in the city.

In a couple of hours you don't get too much done, but I wanted to keep the minimum of 12k steps more than anything else. I am every day between the intention of maintaining a healthy pace of activity and lack of encouragement to move more than necessary hahaha will be the lack of vitamin D because of the winter, thank goodness it is little to go recovering.

I say goodbye with this funny image of the glass of the Matisse Rivercafe, I feel it shouts "peace out" for me to enjoy the road, so I say the same to whoever reads this post, let's start this week calm and enjoying small things.

Una cosa que tenía pendiente estando en esta zona del casco histórico, era pasarme por la oficina de turismo para comprobar si habían actualizado ya el Plano Gastronómico de l ciudad, un mapa señalizado con varios restaurantes en l ciudad, que siempre me gusta revisar para no perderme de las actualizaciones.

Pero aún tienen a disposición del público el correspondiente al año 2023, no sé realmente para cuando lo actualicen o si piensan hacerlo, se me pasó preguntar aunque lo más probable es que sea cuando estemos más cercanos a las fiestas del Pilar, que es cuando hay más turismo en la ciudad.

En un par de horas no se hace demasiado, pero quería mantener el mínimo de 12k pasos más que otra cosa. Estoy todos los días entre la intención de mantener un ritmo de actividad saludable y la falta de ánimos para moverme más de lo necesario jajaja será la falta de vitamina D por culpa del invierno, menos mal que ya es es poca de ir recuperando.

Me despido con está imagen tan divertida del vaso del Matisse Rivercafe, siento que me grita “peace out” para que disfrutara del camino, así que lo mismo le digo a quien lea este post, vamos a comenzar esta semana calmados y disfrutando de las pequeñas cosas.
