Good morning, my traveling hearts.

I continue touring my city, showing you representative sites of the region, some in perfect condition and others forgotten. After taking in the surroundings and architecture of the San Tarcisio Church, I went straight to the City of God Museum, which, together with the aforementioned temple, forms part of the complex of the same name. Unfortunately, it is currently in a state of disrepair, which is very unfortunate.

The City of God Museum has a very distinctive shape; it is ovoid and, to me, resembles an egg. In its heyday, it was one of the most striking pieces of architecture in the city. It was designed by architect Ali Namazi and built by a renowned Monsignor. Currently, some of the mosaics on its exterior have fallen off, and it is deeply saddening to see it in such a state.

It has a single entrance but several arches on its façade. I could see that some of the internal windows were completely broken, due to fires set while it was abandoned. I was very afraid to go inside because we didn't know what we might find, but in the end we decided not to.

From where we were standing, we could see a huge spiral staircase with steps leading up and down, and behind it, some niches that I imagine once held important works of art.

I would have liked to see a little further, but I thought it might be a hideout for criminals or that the internal structure might not be safe enough to walk around freely due to its deterioration. It is also noticeable how the external structure is falling apart, so much so that the construction beams are visible.

I would like them to restore the City of God Museum, as none of the museums in the city are currently open, which is a complete waste for art, considering that the facilities are there and just need a little love.

Buenos días, mis corazones viajeros.

Sigo recorriendo mi ciudad, mostrándoles sitios representativos de la región, algunos en perfectas condiciones y otros se encuentran en el olvido, después de visualizar un poco los alrededores y la arquitectura de la Iglesia San Tarcisio, fuí directo al Museo Ciudad de Dios que junto con el templo antes mencionado forman parte del complejo con el mismo nombre, actualmente se encuentra en estado de deterioro lo cuál es muy lamentable.

El Museo Ciudad de Dios, tiene una forma muy particular, es ovoide y para mi es similar a un huevo, en sus tiempos de gloria era una de las arquitecturas más llamativas de la ciudad, fue diseñada por el arquitecto Alí Namazi y construida por un reconocido Monseñor, en este momento parte de los mosaicos de su exterior se encuentren caídos, lo cuál llena de profundo pesar ver como se encuentra en estás condiciones.

Tiene una sola entrada pero distintos arcos en su fachada para cceder, pude ver que parte de las vidrieras internas se encontraban completamente rotas, por algunos incendios provocados mientras se encontraba en abandono, tenía mucho miedo de entrar porque no sabíamos con que podíamos encontrarnos pero a la final decidimos no hacerlo.

Desde donde estábamos podíamos observar un enorme espiral con una caminería para subir o bajar, y detrás de ellas pueden verse algunos nichos, que puedo imaginar que en el pasado aguardaban obras de arte importantes.

Me habría gustado ver un poco más allá, pero pensaba en que pudiera ser guarida de delincuentes o que la estructura interna no fuera lo suficientemente segura para caminar con tranquilidad por su deterioro, además es notorio como se esta cayendo a pedazos la estructura en parte externa, tanto que puede verse las vigas de construcción.

Me gustaría que pudiesen recuperar el Museo Ciudad de Dios, ya que actualmente ninguno de los museos se encuentran funcionando en la ciudad lo cuál es un total desperdicio para el arte, teniendo en cuenta de que existen instalaciones solo les hace falta un poco de amor.
