Giving in to the Nostalgia - 1984 Detroit Tigers Baseball Cards!!!

O.K., I Gave In...

When I was a kid, my Dad used to take me to Detroit Tigers games often. During the 1984 Season, they won the World Series, and we watched every game religiously. Today, at the Lansing Old Town Art Feast, yes "Feast" not "Fest," there was a vendor booth and the guy running it had a bunch of Tigers Baseball cards from the 1984 team...

Not One To Buy The Hype...

If you have read my posts, then you know that recently I was invited to film a wedding at the Lansing Comic Con, and even though I read comics as a kid, I just have never really gotten into toys and games as an adult. Today however, I just could not resist buying the cards this guy had for sale, especially when he only wanted fifty cents apiece!

So Shoot Me...

Ok, so action figures and toys may not be my thing, but seeing the team that I saw as a young boy again, well, I guess I get the point now. Maybe it is not so bad having things that remind you of the innocent times in life after all...
