Good day, everyone, and welcome to another exciting update on Liverpool this summer window. In some of my recent posts, I mentioned that there will be departures from Liverpool this summer window and the player that will be the second likely exit this summer is Jarell Quansah. This possible exit is a surprise for me because I was not expecting the youngster to leave the club with the season he had and even though he has been getting a little playing time under Arne Slot, he was still a valuable part of the squad.

Jarell Quansah is a Liverpool academy player as the youngster joined the club when he was five years of age and since then he has been training and working hard for the moment to feature in the first team and that dream came through in the 2023/2024 season when he broke into the first team under Klopp and in that season Jarell Quansah made a total of 33 appearances in all competitions which is an amazing start for just breaking into the first team in a year.

Under Arne Slot, Jarell Quansah had 30 appearances in all competitions, which is just one game less than he had in the previous season.Bayern Leverkusen is the club interested in signing Jarell Quansah this summer. Liverpool is asking for a fee of 30 million euros, plus 5 million euros in add-ons, to approve the sale of the Englishman this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, a final decision will be made in the next 24-48 hours as the negotiations are still going on between both clubs.

Honestly, if Liverpool gets the fees they are requesting it will be a decent sale for Liverpool. On the other hand, Jarell Quansah has already accepted personal terms with Bayern Leverkusen, so it is just a matter of time before the deal gets finalised for both clubs. Jarell Quansah leaving the club is not what I was expecting like I said at the beginning of this post. I was expecting the youngster to stay, and he is still quite young, which means he could develop and become a regular starter, but that won't be happening anytime soon.

It's going to be an interesting couple of deals as this deal progresses and reaches its final stage. I wish Jarell Quansah the best as he prepares for his new journey in Germany. There will still be more departures from Liverpool this summer as expected, and in the coming weeks, more updates will be dropped. Liverpool has successfully completed the Milos Kerkez deal, which I will be making a post for soon. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
