Liverpool Has Set Their Sights On Antoine Semenyo
The January transfer window is gradually approaching, and some clubs are already quietly moving to sign their preferred players. Liverpool had an incredible transfer window last summer, and no one will expect the Reds to sign players in the January transfer window, given that they are already well-stocked with players and have spent a significant amount during the last transfer window. However, that doesn't mean anything from my point of view. Chelsea has spent approximately 2 billion so far, the last 2-3 years, and is still nowhere near done with that spending, so u don't think Liverpool should stop.
The Reds are already making plans to sign Bournemouth and Ghanaian star Antoine Semenyo. The Ghanaian player has sparked a lot of reaction this season in the Premier League with Bournemouth as the English club has been pretty solid this season. It has been made known that Semenyo's release clause is worth 60 million euros, which is a fixed fee as there won't be any negotiation, plus a 5 million euros add-on on the deal. Now is 60 million euros a steal for Semenyo who just sparked this season in the Premier League?
The answer is yes, 60 million is a steal for Semenyo as he is a top player and would thrive at Liverpool, and I know some will say if Isak and Florian Wirtz are yet to bloom, are Liverpool what is the assurance that Semenyo will fit in properly at Liverpool? It is worth a shot, and I think Liverpool should capitalise on signing Semenyo. I am sure not only the Reds will be on the Ghanaian star's radar this January transfer window, as other clubs will be pushing to sign Semenyo. There are more reports that Bournemouth are hoping to secure Semenyo by giving him a new contract.
They are looking for a suitable plan to secure Semenyo at the club next year, but it is not in their hands, as if any club triggers the release clause, it will all depend on the final decision Semenyo will give to the clubs wanting to sign him in the January window. According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool is seriously interested in bringing Semenyo into the club, which means I am certain the club will trigger the release clause of the Ghanaian player once the time is right. There has not been any news on what Semenyo thinks of the idea of leaving Bournemouth next year to know if the player is interested in joining the club.
Antoine Semenyo's story will be one to watch this coming transfer window as it will be one of the headlines next year. The Ghanaian could be the missing piece to the Arne Slot team that is in a building phase currently as I want to put it that way with all the setbacks happening with the team. Liverpool will get back to winning ways soon, but if that doesn't happen soon we might begin to question Arne Slot's future at the club. So that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

For me Liverpool though are going through a rough patch, don't need the services of Semenyo at this period.
Their front line is loaded with quality players(Gakpo,Eketike,Salah,Isak Chiesa....), they just need to go back to their drawing board and put their acts together.
Secondly, what is the probability that if he comes to Liverpool he would hit the ground running?who would have thought that a player like Alexander Isak would struggle with form at Liverpool considering is qualities.
Liverpool can find their rhythm in the second half of the campaign season, teams do face what they are experiencing,it is part of the round leather game all hope is not yet lost.Though this is just my opinion on Semenyo going to Liverpool,no doubt,he is a quality player,a delight to watch. Thanks for updating @nonsowrites
