The Reds Injury Problems
The Champions League is back again, and tomorrow Liverpool will be going up against PSV in matchday five of the league phase in the UCL. Liverpool will face PSV at home tomorrow, as it will be a crucial match for both sides to move up in the competition table. PSV has only lost one match since the start of the competition, and knowing Liverpool's present form, they will try to capitalise and get the three points at Anfield tomorrow night.
This match is most likely a win for Liverpool to put themselves in a good position to finish in the top eight on the league table to secure a place in the round of sixteen without going through the playoffs route which will be harder as it increases the amount of games that will be played for the Reds this season. Liverpool is currently facing some injury problems, especially in the right back position. Jeremine Frimpong has been sidelined due to a hamstring injury he picked up before the international break. Jeremine Frimpong is not having the season that I hoped he would before he joined Liverpool.
Another player who fits perfectly in that position, Conor Bradley, has also been sidelined as the Englishman picked up a muscle injury, which will see him out for three weeks, which means he will not feature in the upcoming match tomorrow against PSV. The Englishman has been solid, and the performance he gave against Real Madrid was so top-notch that it got no Liverpool fans talking after the match. Hopefully, Bradley returns with the team mid-December as we enter the crucial stage of the football season.
Now it is left to Szoboszlai and Gomez to fill that position for tomorrow's match, but there are doubts about Gomez playing as the Englishman is not 100 per cent fit to play. It was confirmed that he was given an injection in his knee, and Arne Slot planned to use him in the right back role against Nottingham Forest last weekend, but it was not possible. This just leaves Szoboszlai the only appropriate choice to feature in that role tomorrow. Szoboszlai has done well in that role, but this will limit his style of play as he is more effective in the midfield than on the right back.
Florian Wirtz is also out and I doubt he will be available for tomorrow's match, but let's see what happens tomorrow. It's not the time for these multiple injuries, knowing the club is having a horrible form at the moment. The players need to recover quickly, but not rush in order not to have a relapse. It is a tough period for the fans and the team, but I am confident that the sun will shine on the club soon. Other UCL matches will be played this evening, and one of them I will be keeping an eye on will be Chelsea vs Barcelona, which has been the talk since the start of the week. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good evening.

Liverpool is winning this one.
