Africans battling their way to Qatar 2022!
I had been offline for some days again but then, it wasn't really for too long, I am back now, and for the fact that there hasn't been EPL matches lately, I really don't get the vibe to write and it's all about international/national games these days.
Following up on some news about Manchester United's and I just recently read that Maguire had injured Mount of Chelsea during training, that sounded so hilarious and annoying at the same time, I'm not sure it's true though but I don't trust Maguire either.
Although I've been following the African World Cup Qualifier matches and even some qualifier matches from other parts of the world. I'm still in shock knowing that Italy would not be privileged to play the Qatar 2022 world Cup and the most surprising and painful part is knowing that North Macedonia actually made that possible.
Back to Africa!

As a Nigerian, it's just something quite normal to want to see my country qualify to the World Cup but sincerely, when I saw that the fixture was against Ghana, I was quite scared because Ghana plays physical game all the time but for Nigeria, its just more like the problem of not having a play pattern.
Nigeria currently has much and enough quality players to be a fine threat even in the World Cup tournament but I don't really think that's going to happen. After watching the match against Ghana, I'm just hoping we qualify.
Throughout the match, we couldn't even attack clearly for once, it was just all defensive and annoying moves giving Ghana more chance to be aggressive and I think we were quite lucky they couldn't get a goal. For me, my man of the match that day was Kudus, that lad is definitely a promising talent!
Another tough match I reasoned on was Cameroon vs Algeria, these two teams are presently quite strong and competitive. I was strongly hoping for a draw in the match but it went south for Cameroon with the goal from Slimani.

Sure it's definitely a painful one for Cameroon but then, considering the quality in the team, I am sure they'll be coming back stronger in the second leg and it would be an interesting match to watch.
Mali vs Tunisia was another match that caught my attention but then, took many times happened in the match that almost got me emotional. The own goal was really a painful one even to myself that is not from Mali but then, it's just football.

I sincerely don't care what others have to say but the Red card this referee gave in this match doesn't worth it at all and that's just so annoying. I really wish something could be done about that but Africa is not so organized. I'm just hoping Mali gets a fair chance in the second leg because for me, they appear to be more impressive than Tunisia.
Which of these African football teams do you think is the best with performances?
I watched the qualifier match between Egypt and Senegal and I literally could say those are the best football teams currently in Africa. There was so much vibe and life in the match from the very beginning till the end. I learnt the past African Nations Cup final was quite interesting too but I couldn't get to watch it but this recent qualifier? Thier match was the best!

Lucky Egypt I would say. They had the early opportunity and they took it but trust me, the returning leg would be more like a war because either of the teams won't let go easily. Let's keep watching and just soon, we shall be knowing those finally heading to Qatar!

Even with our quality, we didn't win nor qualify. That was painful and I have no words.
Lol..... I'm not surprised at all!
It's shameful.
Very shameful indeed!
It's hard being a supporter of Manchester United and Nigeria. We are in for it.
I am sincerely telling you, but it's just football anyways.
That's right. We move. Haha
