Arsenal knocked out Chelsea on a Boxing day.
Since yesterday, I've been perceiving it in my spirit that it'll be quite hot today at Emirates as Arsenal really needed to buy themselves back a winning mentality, and that could have happened against any team but it seems like the best for them as they made it happen in a big and derby match against Chelsea today. It was indeed a London derby today!
With so many speculations that it would be impossible for Arsenal to run over Chelsea today due to that fact that some quality players such as Aubameyang won't be available for the game but funny enough, Arteta (Arsenal's Manager) played a great gamble today that really worked for him. He placed his trust card on the youngsters the team has to beat a big team as Chelsea, isn't that too risky? But it's football and the both teams would equally have 11 players each on the pitch, and the best user of the ball wins!
Checking Arsenal's lineup today, aside Lacazette as the CF, the three majors behind him were just the future assets Arsenal has and it was quite enough to make an Arsenal fan to panic that there isn't no experienced player in the front line as much as needed and funny enough, Lacazette who was there isn't that consistent striker one can always look up to but he paid some debts today.
Arsenal won to climb up to 14th with 17 points and with just 7 points away from the relegation zone. It might still be quite tough for Arsenal considering the fact that they would have to struggle so much to be able to qualify for either the champions league or the European league, and maybe if they could win the FA cup again and that won't be that easy this season.
