Evaluating United's End of The Year Escapades. (Happy New Year πŸ€—πŸŽ‰).....

Happy New Year To All My Friends And Sport Lovers on Hive. πŸ€—

It's been a while I wrote any sport reports around here and that was because I'd been very busy with so many important things in my life and I would like to seize this opportunity to apologize to a good friend of the community and myself @cryptoandcoffee, I am sure he would have been somehow concerned about my absence for a while now. I am so sorry for leaving you all for this long without any notice but I'm on my feet again!

I've really missed the world of football in the past couple of weeks and considering the manner at with the Covid 19 occurrences keeps affecting the Europeans football space makes it more less interesting for me to pay more attention to football but I still manage to portray my obligations to my favorite team (Manchester United).

Since arrival of Ralf as Manchester United's head Coach, I've developed a little bit of more confidence in United. Knowing that the club now possess a Manager that has a personal tactics and approach to the game of football gives me this strong hope that things could still be bright for United this year even in a very little way.

Ralf has managed United through 5 different matches with so many experiments and he was able to win 3 matches and drew 2. Throughout the five matches, it's just that against Newcastle United that really got me disappointed. That match shows how much of a weakling United's defense is.

Aside from the flaws and faults in the defense, the act of creativity from the midfield has been that much yet until the recent win against Burnley, I haven't seen much creative force from United's midfielders and I personally still feel and hope it would get much more better and stronger once Pogba comes back fit and once Ralf gets to decipher how to play Van De Beek in his formation.

So far so good, I personally would say De Gea is the best thing United has presently even though the team has conceded so much this season yet De Gea has recorded so many important saves that could have sent United to Hell and back but then I would only say that Ralf needs to work on his defense line.

The likes of of Maguire and Fred often make silly mistakes with their passes and that has cost us a lot of damages this season and just the same thing happened against Newcastle United recently.

I don't think United would be willing to let go of Maguire anytime soon considering the fact that he was brought it on a very heavy contract with huge sum of money. But I'll hope and wish that Ralf could reduce his playing time and perhaps get him to improve more on his pass accuracies and even his aerial strength hasn't fetched United much or enough goals yet. It's just not an expected performance for Maguire yet.

Sancho is gradually getting his stand in the team and personally I am loving his improvements but then I am still expecting more creative supplies from him this season. At least, United has the most powerful attack in the league for now and that enough should be fetching United many goals than any other team in the league.

With Cavani, Ronaldo, Rashford, and Greenwood as scorers, United ought to be scoring at least two goals in most of their matches this season but when a team lacks creativity from it midfield, there's less to what the strikers can do in converting their pressing in to goals.

I believe in this new United and most importantly, I very much believe in Ralf but then, Ralf still needs to do a lot of converting and replacements in his squad. I believe him to be a fine coach but it's a thing to hope and believe, and it's another thing to see one's beliefs becoming realities......

United has the most powerful attack in the league

Hmmm, not sure about that one. Too many players trading on former glories in my opinion

Could you please elaborate more on your point? What players are those you're talking about?.

Ronaldo and Cavani are both past their prime and Rashford never developed beyond a promising young player and into a world class performer.

I do not think we need to argue about this. Both Cavani and Ronaldo can still deliver well for the next two seasons that I can assure myself and for Rashford, injury ruined this season for him.
