The African Movements to Qatar 2022!

Hello football lovers..........

It's been one of hell story since the final whistle at Abuja, Nigeria yesterday night. I really don't know how people/Nigerians managed to have so much believe and convictions that Nigeria was going to qualify last night after watching what they played in Ghana some days ago.

Sincerely, I was even surprised to see them perform the way they did yesterday but I knew it can only be by luck for them to qualify considering the fact that they joked around in the first leg and at the same time had Ghana scored before them in the return leg, it was just so glaring Nigeria wasn't going anywhere!

I am quite happy for Ghana, at least they played out their plans and it worked just fine for them. Ghana moves for Qatar but then, Nigerians were seen destroying things in the stadium at Abuja after the final whistle but the painful thing was that a Nigeria football official died in the struggle, it's just a sad country I tell you!

It must really be a fun thing for Sadio Mane and so many Senegalese fans to have slammed Egypt twice for major victories simultaneously. I wonder how the welcome back would be between Salah and Mane at Liverpool.

It was even a crazy coincidence that Senegal scored an early goal just the same time Egypt did in the first leg and personally, I knew Senegal was going to be beast in yesterday's match and I even find it quite painful that they had to play down to penalty shootouts because Senegal had so beautiful chances in which would have sealed their run to Qatar on time. There was even a chance I thought was nothing but a goal in the last minutes of the match but was missed by Sarr of Watford FC.

I really don't know maybe it was because of the thing I saw as a mistake from the referee in the first leg, I just don't feel happy about Tunisia qualifying. It just seems like Mali was cheated somehow but it's a game of football, it see a lot of surprises sometimes.

I think for Algeria vs Cameroon, I could say God actually answered my prayer because I wanted and felt Cameroon deserved to qualify ahead of Algeria and the late goal from Ekambi made it possible!

Although, Algeria played quite well for a chance to qualify but I don't know, personally, I just felt Cameroon deserved more and they just got that!

In conclusion, there are so other qualifying matches I didn't talk about basically because I do not find them that interesting. Airing my view on some of this matches, I would liken the issue with Nigerian team to that of Manchester United, it is really similar and that was one of the reasons why I wasn't surprised to see them fall at the end.

Can you just imagine?

Big countries in the history of African football such as Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, South Africa, and Ivory Coast all failed to make it to the World Cup in the same instance, isn't that strange? I think it is, but then, I don't think it's as shocking as Italy not also player the World Cup too.

There are just so much weird occurrences tied to this Qatar 2022 World Cup tournament but I don't think that would make it less interesting. I am just waiting for another shock like having a country who hasn't won it before win it this time around!
