Vinicius Jnr. Shines as Liverpool fell at Madrid.
Football can never be too easy to predict!
Personally, yesterday I felt it was going to be quite tough for Real Madrid because I do have this fear always, whenever I discover Ramos won't be playing in a Match for Madrid, I tend to find it difficult to believe Madrid would win not even when playing a team like Liverpool. Tough, Liverpool hasn't been at their best this season but then, they aren't at their worse either and that made me think they could tough Madrid in the Quarter Finals but it never happened.
I've always loved Vinicius for his pace and then hated him for his lack of finishing accuracy, he's quite good with the ball and moving the ball and likewise moving with the ball, but whenever it gets to him getting the ball into the back of the net, he often disappoints but yesterday was an exemption!
Vinicius didn't just get himself two goals yesterday, he also had some couple of attempts that made him appear as the man the man of many touches in the match last night. He is still very much young and I feel he could make the world class list if only he would improve is scoring abilities and then he could struggle to complete with the likes of Mbappe and Haaland.
Asensio who also scored for Madrid last night had quite a funny and interesting goal due to the error committed by one of Liverpool's defenders. And the kind of goal Asensio scored yesterday are goals you can easily see Vinicius lose maybe due to his speed or perhaps he just needs to work more on his scoring abilities. The same issue lies with Chelsea's star (Timo Werner) who had the speed and most times finds it quite difficult to control his pace in his opponent's goal box.
Asensio has scored for Real Madrid consecutively in four different matches and that could only keep him in Zidane's first team plan for Real Madrid since Hazard is still battling with injury.
When I first saw the design above for the match fixture, I got to remember the scenario in 2018 champions league final between same Madrid and Liverpool but then, that match appeared like one with an error having Salah carried out if the pitch with an injury. That incident actually cost Liverpool so much then and I thought there was going to be a sense of Vengeance at Madrid last night but then, that never happened maybe because Liverpool are currently struggling to find their feet even in the premier league, it's not so certain that would make the top for yet and at the same time, they're also getting of the competition if they refuse to beat Madrid at Anfield. There are still so much to be since and watched in the champions league and as for Liverpool as a team, they just have to buckle up and that has to be quite fast! LIVERPOOL VS REAL MADRID would definitely be a fine second leg to see in a couple of week from now!
