Ronaldo Scores

Well, Ronaldo started the match against Newcastle and thus ending the speculation and doubts over whether he'd even feature in tonight's game at all given that he has hardly had time to train with his new teammates.

And he scored the only goal of the half in first half injury time. While I dislike Manchester United and I doubt CR7 is going to be the difference between Man Utd and the other big clubs, he's going to sell the t-shirts and probably pay them back manifold on the business side of things.

The rest of the matches tonight have been pretty low scoring with the Man City vs Leicester game being a surprise. Would have thought that 2 open teams ought to have some goals between them.

I am hoping Newcastle have a goal in them today and maybe can snatch a point of Man Utd. That would be awesome.

And just as I typed that, Newcastle have scored... Hopefully they don't get a goal disallowed though like Leicester did.
