Dear Splinters,

Greetings,
How are you doing today? One battle challenge that we will remember for a while. The Chaos Knight is one of the shields equipped cards that I often play in my team.

The match ruleset was interesting as it consist of the fog of war and mana cap around 36.

I was confident that the Chaos knight with good healing and repair backup in the team could survive anything.

The summoner behind the enemy line is Obsidian

  • Unicorn Mustang

  • Failed summoner

  • Goblin Psychic

  • Djinn Biljka

  • Spirit hoarder

  • Mycelic Splipspawn

I was surprised to find so many magic monsters on the opponent's line. The match was going to be somewhat hard for me.

The mana cap was not so low and the selection of the team members were easy.

  • Supply Runner

  • Fire spitter

Despite the inability to use the sneak attacks my team managed to make good use of the range attack and reach skills.

My strategies

I was sure that the opponent set of monsters was going to be range and magic cards. I was planning to speed my team and strike as many times as I could before the end of the first round. It was also planned to heal and repair the Chaos knight in order to make him the longest standing on the battlefield.

Did my strategy work?

I got a few drops of sweat on my front head during the two rounds at the beginning of this match. My strategy almost failed but I was lucky to have in place a team of strong monsters that didn't miss one strike. I would try next time to play with reflect monsters in my life lineup.

Do you like the CHAOS KNIGHT? Why or why not?

I love the shield ability and the armor of this card. I play the Chaos Knight all the time. My strategy to use the Knight as a tank and offensive card is really effective. In the early ranking battles of the Gold league, Chaos Knight at the level six causes a lot of damage on the arena.

This team Lineup wasn't the best line to fight the magic team. I will add more life monsters with reflector or silence.

Of course, Splinterlands is sometimes about luck. Besides the elements of chance that exist in the battles, you can't prepare against all possible surprises the opponent can bring you.

Chaos Knight is a great card, especially when you can't load up on Defenders in Light splinter. Nicely played hand!

Interesting line up. I always think of using death to counter magic but life seems to be a viable option as well.

I find Chaos Knight a little bit lacking most of the time so I don't use it much. Any reason as to why you choose to mix in a bunch of magic and ranged along with your lineup? I tend to put my entire lineup as melee when using Daria.
