Super eagles world cup dissapointment a "blessing in disguise"

So it's official Nigeria has been sent back home meaning we are not qualified for FIFA world cup 2022 after drawing 1:1 with Black stars of Ghana on Tuesday.

This is the first time Nigeria isn't gonna be going for the world cup compititions since 2006. The hearts of all Nigerians where broken we never expected this to happen but it actually did happen, I guess it's destiny perhaps we are not actually destined to be in Qatar.

I would continue to support Ghana till the last, I promised to support whoever wins Tuesday's match so am now officially a supporter of the black stars of Ghana I am solidly behind them.

If asked why Nigeria did not qualify do lot of people blame it at the level of curruption in the country which is absolutely not correct. Most of of watched the match I believe if we are good sport men and women we will be able to note the mistakes Nigeria made before and during the match. So blaming it on curruption or the NFF (Nigeria football federation) is wrong.

I personally condemn the bad behaviors of some super eagles supporters. They had the guts to parade themselves in the pitch and in some VIP areas of the stadium and start destroying equipments. So bad I felt ashamed that even after not qualifying they still had the guts to go round and start destroying things in the stadium, how will that solve the problem in any way?

Taking things violently had always been the problem here in Nigeria. Now the MKO Abiola stadium will need serious renovation because of this act. Just like I said earlier super eagles failed to qualify not because of the curruption in the nation but because they are cracks in the team which need to be checked.

If we had make it to the world cup we will still have been sent back it is better we left now, we need to find a way to put better quality organization off and on the pitch, I will also blame the players I noticed they didn't put up a fighting spirit they did more of show off and entertainment in the pitch we all need players that are ready to fight and win, they should know what that green jersey stood for and that whenever they put it on they are fighting for the whole nation not just themselves alone.

It's high time NFF look into the organization of the super eagles and set things right again so we wouldn't be having this huge embarrassing outcome in the next world cup. Sadly at the MKO Abiola stadium on Tuesday CAF doping officer Dr Joseph Kabungo who was in charge of the match died as a result of sudden cardiact arrest during the raid of the stadium by supporters of super eagles. Note he didn't die in the hands of or as a result of any beating, he died of cardiact arrest. May his soul rest in peace Amen🙏
