Even the good old "Joga Bonito",the Brazilian football way of beauty,style, and individual accomplishment has since been lost. They have found other ways to win. However,we still see fragments of the old way because, it's actually an inborn thing with them.
Similarly,Nigeria has it's way, as I have described, and it has always been there whether it was at peak moments like the USA'94 World Cup or low moments like the Korea 2002 World Cup and the rest. Performance is different from the style of a team,that's why I said Italy comes with a known template whether their overall performance is impressive or not.
Also fan base is no trivial matter at any World Cup.Nigeria has enviable proportions of that.
So in their own ways,these two teams were missed.
