Hmmn we seem to be thinking alike with my WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE GUNNERSblog.
Your first point here was my major point . I think it is an underrated factor in this recent poor form. A little cut-out:

You got it Bro. Too many familiar faces for longer period of time. Mikel Arteta doesn't know how to rotate his team, the same thing happened last season.
You see it too right? You will notice what I said about Ancelloti in that blog.
Glad you noticed this happened last season. Infact Arteta was even worse in this regard initially. Even if you buy the best striker, you need to take care of his match sharpness.
You see that Brighton man, with all the injuries they have, you would see him bench Mitoma in the EPL after the European game, mid-week. That need the victory so much in the EPL and they have a large injury list yet Mitoma or another star player will be benched and brought in second half. This is the modern trend.
Is like when you talk about team management, Arteta doesn't seems to have it. He overuses players to the extent that they lose their legs. He needs to improve on that.
