RE: Manchester City Didn't Take It Easy With Real Madrid

Hi, yeah very shambolic Madrid. As they say in football, "Madrid didn't turn up", and no it's not about the Haaland distraction.
City has always been about the collective, Haaland scoring much this season hasn't changed that either. Just watch City and see that it's not just about the brilliance of Haaland, no way, this team is a collective synergy of footballing genius.

In the first leg, Haaland didn't score but a certain player did. That player is even their most dangerous player.

City suffocated Madrid, that's what happened. It was each Madrid player to at least two City players when Madrid had the ball. But this is how City plays, that's part of why Stones is used in the midfield when City are in possession, they seek to cause overloads everywhere on the pitch. There was so much space for City to attack even before any goal was scored.

It is almost criminal that Ancelloti didn't prepare for this, when it's clear that's how City plays. Looking at his players being shaky in possession especially in that first half, was so shameful. You wonder if they trained at all for the match.

Well the deed has been done, City deserved winners, Madrid will go back and leak their wounds, but it was not a good day for football, from a neutral point of view. Madrid killed the match.

Cheers
