Leeds vs Arsenal ends in goalless draw

Leeds United hosted the gunners at Elland road in the premier league with both sides in need of all three points that would lift them to the top ten of the premier league but the hotly contested encounter ended in a barren draw.

Both sides started brightly but Marcelo Bielsa's boys soon took control of the game dictating play limiting how much possession the Arsenal side enjoyed but the first half ended with very little entertainment and few chances created by both sides.

The second half started and it didn't take long before Arsenal's winger Nicolas Pepe was shown a red cad for violent conduct after he head butted a Leeds player, and after a VAR review by the referee, the Ivorian was given his matching orders.

Leeds tried to capitalize on the numerical advantage by introducing more attacking players but a combination of Leno and the cross bar was able to repel all Leeds attack till the end of ninety minutes.
