A surgery have been done on Everton midfielder Andre Gomez in order to repair a  fracture dislocation that he got on his right ankle in the match against Tottenham hotspur in the Sunday premier league match, and his club said said he is "expected to make a full recovery"

Just as I said earlier, The Portugal international who is just 26-year-old got his ankle dislocated during the Sunday's 1-1 draw with the London club Tottenham Hotspur after a tackle from Tottenham Striker Son.

A statement given out by the club said that the surgery carried out on him on Monday "went extremely well".

The Portugal International Andre Gomes will be starting his rehabilitation under the directory of the club's medical staff immediately after he gain full recovery in the hospital.

Another statement given out by the premier league team Everton said: "On behalf of Andre, the club would like to thank all Everton supporters and members of the wider football family for the overwhelming messages of support we have received since yesterday's match."

I don't think there is any specific date set for his come back yet. However, I wish him quick recovery so that he can be back real soon. Thanks for reading!
