THE MILAN DERBY ONE OF THE FIERCEST RIVALRIES IN FOOTBALL AS AC MILAN & INTER MILAN BATTLES THIS WEEKEND

Rivalries are not just called rivalry, it is the Battle of superiority, claiming the bragging rights and who's coming out ontop.

In this case, present forms are thrown out the window as it has nothing todo with the rivalries, this is a case of derby matches. Its a matter of who wants it the more more, a far superior team.This time everyone steps up their game,the coach understands what is at stake, everyone brings on their A-game, avoiding any form of slip ups. Everywhere is heated up.

So this weekend i'd pick out one of the fiercest rivalries in football,especially in Italia football, match thats going to be nothing short of drama, a big matchup, as the whole city will be in a standstill for 90 minutes.

The milan derby, AC MILAN vs INTER MILAN.

I think one of the questions on everyone's mind will be which is bigger between AC and INTER Milan

For the sake of record, i'd say AC MILAN is bigger, AC has won 29 domestic tittles and 18 European and international competitions while INTER has won 30 domestic titles and 9 european and international titles. But in milan at SAN SIRO its a different ball game when the two teams square up against each other.

And on sunday 21st February milan will be divided into red and blue once again for their seria A 2nd leg tie

  • Funny enough the two teams are the leading teams in Italia seria A with inter at the top of the log with 50 points, 1 point above AC milan at second place with 49 points. So its a top of the table clash,

A win for INTER will take them to 53 points 4 points clear of AC and a win for AC milan will take them above INTER with 52 points, 2 points clear.

  • A recent dip in form for AC milan is serious concern after topping the league table for many months especially after losing 2 nil to spezia last weekend and drawing 2 - 2 in their Europa league game on Thursday, that may have affect their psyche and their moral while INTER have been flying looking resurgent under conte with lukaku scoring for fun,

Will Lukaku and Zlatan revive their rivalries, considering what they did to each other the last time they face off, for me personally i'd love to see that once again, the fight, zeal and passion for their respective teams and I'm looking forward to see who will come out ontop this time.

we're sure up for a classic match, toe to toe, neck to neck, body to body, iron for iron, a show of top strikers Lakaku and Zlatan. I would say the two teams defense just have to be at their best so as not to embarrass their team, and here as to who will win, I'm not going to stick my neck for anyone, let me just sit on the fence while i watch and enjoy the derby match.
