Captain Haa Haaland...

What a weekend it was. It was so good to have the Premier League back after two weeks. I am glad the weekend came with a bang even though I was sad to see my team lose. It's not surprising though because I knew we wouldn't be able to handle Manchester City but I wasn't expecting it to be a charity match or an exhibition match where we would get whooped by 6. The 3 goals we scored was a mere consolation though because City blew us out of the waters and it was that man again; Haaland at the center of everything.

Haaland is a beast and he proved it once again. How can you take the Premier League by storm and be shattering records so early on? He has scored back t back hattricks which has been hard to come by, broken the most goals in 8 games leaving Aguero trailing behind him and became handful for defenders to tame. He doesn't just score, he makes assists, give brilliant runs and I know it's too early but he's going to be up there for the golden boot. It's scary but this guy can get 40 goals in the Premier League at this rate.

Manchester United were put to the sword with Phil Foden and Erling Haaland both scoring hattricks. My team lost but I can't lose on both ways as my Fantasy Premier League got a massive boost with Captain Haaland giving me the numbers. I got 82 points and half of that coming from just one man hahahaha it's scary to say the least.

Liverpool are still struggling and Salah isn't giving a lot of people the points they desire. Van Djik too dragged down my points after Liverpool played a 3-3 draw with Brighton. I had Dawson on the bench and I wished I brought him in but how would I have known? Hahahaha. It's all a gamble and we keep pushing regardless.

Gabriel Jesus managed to give me some points and Kevin De Bruyne gave me some points too. The talking point of the weekend apart from the Manchester derby was Arsenal beating Tottenham and the way they did it you can see that it was a high intensity match so it was not a fluke at all. It was a game that lived up to the hype and rightly so. I wish I had Foden in my team hahaha maybe I would have gotten 100+ points than the 82 points I managed. I am excited about the points and thanks to Haaland for making it so.

You can never go wrong with capping Haaland...he would always deliver no matter what. I can only imagine a front three of Kane, Jesus and Haaland hahaha. I need to find a way to squeeze Harry Kane into my team.

How did you point tally go for your Fantasy Premier League over the weekend? @george-dee and @gingerup... I hope to read your reviews and know how it went. I hope I can build up another 80-100 points to make up for lost grounds in the community. Salah is becoming a thorn in the flesh for me and I'm just wary of taking him out because that's when he might perform. I would have to take him out and then add Foden. Who knows, he might score another hattrick hahaha since he has crossed the 50 Premier League goals mark now.

The growth of Foden is scary especially with the goals he has scored and the trophies he has won at such a tender age. Manchester City is the right place for his growth and I hope he doesn't make the mistake of being lured by Barcelona or Real Madrid or even PSG.

That's how the weekend went for my FPL... I am hoping to shake things up a bit and get more points over the weekend. Let's keep going...

Here you have the results over the weekend. It's a screenshot from my Fantasy Premier League page:

82 points, that's wonderful. I got one point less and that's because I left Almiron on the bench with 15 points. I will make my review now. Thank you.
