Chelsea Back On Track.

Chelsea got their first win in the year 2022 under Tuchel which signalled their first win in 4 games to close the gap on Manchester City who dropped points earlier. It was a good chance for Chelsea as they produced a dominant display to usher in their form at the start of the season. Ziyech's brilliant strike and Thiago Silva's clever header made sure the Blues went away with the 3 points against Tottenham, in their hope of catching City in the race for the title.

Lukaku had half a chance inside the box after he was found by Mason Mount with just 45 seconds gone in the game but he blazed his shot over the bar. It wasn't long after, Ziyech found Hudson Odoi with a delightful cross at the near post but Odoi couldn't steer his header better on goal. He should be scoring such a chance especially in a game of this magnitude.

Hugo Lloris made a meal out of Ziyech's strike in the 12th minute when he punched it rather than catch it but it was a decent strike from Ziyech.

Tottenham had a chance of their own in the 13th minute after Harry Wink had a strike at goal even though he had other options around him. Kepa didn't sweat too much to save his effort.

Romelu Lukaku missed a wonderful chance to give Chelsea the lead after Mason Mount found him inside the box but Lukaku fluffed his lines as he couldn't connect with the ball with the goal post staring at him. Odoi made it worse as he wasted too much time on the ball and Tottenham heaved a sigh of relief in the 32nd minute.

Ryan Sessegnon made a waste of a wonderful chance after he was sent clear on goal. Rather than hold off to pick his teammates, his effort just went begging with his strike. Tottenham thought they had scored after Harry Kane found the back of the net but his effort was ruled off despite scoring due to a push on Thiago Silva in the build-up up to his goal. Chelsea also had half-chances before halftime but nothing came from the two sides as they finished the halftime as they started it.

Chelsea got ahead after their dominant display in the 47th minute. Hudson Odoi found Ziyech just outside the box and he produced a moment of beauty and magic after his curling effort found the top left corner of the net with Hugo Lloris rooted to the spot to give Chelsea a 1-0 lead. He had another chance a minute after when Mount's strike was deflected into his path and his smashing effort swerved but was pushed to safety this time around by Hugo Lloris.

Chelsea extended their lead in the 55th minute after Hudson Odoi won a freekick from Eric Dier's challenge. Mason Mount delivered it into the box and Thiago Silva powered home a header to make it 2-0. Bergwijn had a half volley inside the box after Harry Kane surging run on the sideline but his effort didn't threaten Kepa as much as he would have liked.

Lukaku almost added to the scoreline after he was found just outside the box. He drove in and powered a strike which the goalkeeper had to save with his strong hands to keep the scoreline respectable.

Harry Kane almost got one back for Tottenham in the 87th minute after his carefully placed header was saved by the outstretched arms of Kepa to deny the Englishman. It was a brilliant save from Kepa.

The game ended 2-0 and Chelsea can dream again.

Thank you for your time.

Haha, it's the same. Scoring against them or keeping for your team to ensure their ball never passes by, are as big jobs on the Field. I hope you never fat yet so you can carry yourself o. 😂
