Antonio Conte's first Premier League game in charge of Tottenham came to a draw after his men travelled to Goodison Park to take on Everton who has been under a new coach themselves; Rafa Benitez. Conte got his first win for Tottenham in the European Conference League when they hosted Vitesse and they won by 3-2 despite Vitesse scoring 2 goals just after Tottenham had gone 3 goals up earlier.

It's a new life for Tottenham after the sacked Nuno Esprit Santos after the disappointing performance against Manchester United where they lost 3-0 and Conte has proven to be a serial winner despite being linked to Manchester United, he went to Tottenham to prove himself again and it's exciting to see how things would fare for him at Spurs.

Everton and Tottenham player a goalless game at Goodison Park as both teams are in 11th and 9th place respectively but the game is not without some actions with the VAR drama and also with Holgate was sent off in the 92nd minute of the game.

Son and Harry Kane combined beautifully and Kane picked out perfectly the on-rushing Reguillon on the left side in the box but he didn't manage to keep his effort down as he blasted way over the bar. It was a perfect chance for him to give his side the lead but it wasn't meant to be. Ben Davies also had a long-range strike miss the top left corner of the net which he intended as Tottenham kept hoping to get the goal.

Everton also had their moment in the game and they thought they got a lifeline to go ahead when at first, Reguillon clattered into Anthony Gordon before Richarlison was brought down in the box by Hugo Lloris. The referee initially pointed to the penalty spot before he had to consult with his side monitor. He eventually overturned his earlier decision and no penalty was given.

Le Celso nearly won the game for Tottenham with a lovely curling effort that struck the upright. Hojbjerg did so well to steal possession of the ball before finding Skipp. Skipp raced through on goal and passed the ball to Le Celso. He drove in and unleashed a curling effort that beat the goalkeeper but not the post as the ball came off the post.

Everton ended the game with 10 men after Holgate's high foot challenge on Hojbjerg. The referee initially gave him a yellow card but after the VAR review, the referee gave him the marching orders as the game came to a halt. Everton and Tottenham shared the point.
