Cruise Control For Arsenal.

Arsenal players are really showing that they mean business this season. It's still funny to me how they managed to turn their campaign around just when Mikel Arteta was on the brink of being sacked. They have improved tremendously and this victory over Aston Villa away from home shows their intention to seal the top 4 spot.

Arsenal won against Aston Villa, thanks to Bukayo Saka's solitary strike which was enough to give them the 3 points. Saka is now on double figures for the first time in his Arsenal senior career but he has managed 9 goals in the Premier League and notched 5 assists. Interestingly, he has now scored 7 goals in 11 games for Arsenal which shows why he is preferred to start ahead of Pepe.

Saka carried Arsenal during the covid era and you could see the excitement any time he plays. He has been a phenomenal player since and he has justified his inclusion in the team. What Mikel Arteta has done with this team is remarkable and most of their goals has been scored by players from 21 years and younger. They boast of one of the youngest and most exciting young players in the league.

They are also boasting of the most clean sheet in the league after Manchester City and Liverpool which shows that their league position is not a fluke and it's scary to know that they are 4 points ahead of Manchester United with one game to still play. This means they would open up a staggering 7 points lead over the inconsistent Manchester United.

I know they also have tougher games to come but I enjoyed how they are milking the points when they can so they can grow in confidence and cover more grounds. This is why I agreed with sir @cryptoandcoffee when he said that Manchester United need a serious reshuffling to do and they have to painstakingly wait for the rewards to start showing. If they need to build with the youth so they can integrate the culture again into this team, they have to while also waiting for success because it won't be easy but they have to get ready for it.

I love how young and exciting this Arsenal side can be. Before any match, no one gives them a chance and the moment they kick the ball, you can see their obvious quality. I am not saying they would get the top 4 but I am saying that they are in cruise control and getting the points gradually without looking too far ahead. The only concern I have with their team is Xhaka. He is prone to losing his head and if he starts, they have to tell him to keep his head in check. He got a yellow card already which made it his 6th of the current campaign minus the 2 red cards he has gotten already. He has seen over a dozen red cards in his Arsenal career that opposing teams would want to target if they want to knock them off their stride.

The way Aston Villa played against Arsenal was a little bit of a disappointment because I expected them to play better than they did. Arsenal managed to silence them all through the game save a few half chances here and there. Arsenal controlled the whole game and dominated in every reasonable aspect as well. Steven Gerrard and his men had no response to the strike from Saka. Even though they have been having a remarkable season so far but I expected them to play better than they did against Arsenal.

Arsenal has it all to play for now and they are in cruise control to take this 4th place with Manchester United, Tottenham and West Ham lurking around the corner. It wasn't a game with too many chances against Aston Villa but Arsenal did enough to open up the 4 points gap over Manchester United and I can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out.

Thank you for your time.

I must say that Arsenal had surprised me with their form. I thought they would struggle but they have gained more ground on United with one game still to play. It's scary for United.

Manchester United have themselves to blame for their erratic and epileptic performances.

Arsenal is more stable than its pursuers, and is balanced in its results and performance, and if there is a danger to its qualifying position for the champions, it is from Tottenham in my opinion.

I couldn't agree less. Tottenham are currently beating West Ham and Man Utd are unrealiable.

The difference between Tottenham and Arsenal is 6 points, anything is possible

If Tottenham win, they will be in fifth place, one point behind sixth place

They won and they are in the hunt officially for the 4th place.
