The Premier League is back with a bang as usual. It picked up from where it left off before the World Cup and we are seeing how things are shaping up more. Liverpool is still uncertain, Chelsea still struggling, Arsenal still making their mark and Newcastle United still showing us their worthy credentials and the revival under Erik Ten Hag still continues.

Brentford v Liverpool.

I didn't see this coming. I was expecting Liverpool to win this one but they faltered yet again after suffering a 3-1 defeat to the Bees thanks to goals from Wissa, Mbuemo and own goal from Konate before the consolation goal from Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. Liverpool need to shake things up and it's hard to know what the problem with Liverpool is. Darwin has been wasteful as usual and unable to score as much as he has been expected but there is no denying that he is a quality player who brings a lot to the team. He would need to take more of his chances to ease the burden off Salah.

Arsenal v Newcastle United.

I expected a tight affair between these two and that's exactly what they gave us. A game either side could have won but none was able to. Arsenal showed their title credentials but against a worthy opponent as this, they should be winning this game if they want to really win the title. Newcastle United showed they are not having a fluke season as they held Arsenal to a goalless game. It was a worthy performance and I love the direction this team is going.

Everton v Brighton.

Everton suffered a 4-1 loss at home and Brighton has shown us that they are more than their manager because despite the loss of coach to Chelsea, they are not easing up.

Manchester United v Bournemouth.

As a United fan, I am glad we won this game. With the uncertainty and the issue with Cristiano Ronaldo clouding the club, they did their talking on the pitch and the coach is looking more focused than ever to show that he is the right candidate. Marcus Rashford has really stepped up his game which we haven't seen in a long while. He is a complete opposite of the player we saw last season and every player is buying into the agenda of the manager while doing their bit. Luke Shaw, Rashford and Casemiro gave Manchester United a 3-0 victory.

Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur.

It looked as though Tottenham would do it the hard way as usual especially when Palace dominated proceedings but a second half revival saw Tottenham hammered Palace with a 4-0 win, thanks to goals from Kane (double), Son and Doherty. Tottenham has been inconsistent this season and it's hard to know how they can challenge for the top 4 position or the title. The results has been up and down for them and maybe they need a new injection of players into their team. I expected more from them after the business they did over the summer but the excitement seems to have quietened.

Chelsea v Manchester City.

Haaland has been quiet of late but the threat he still possess can never be overlooked. Manchester City generally have been faltering and they haven't been convincing or devastating as we have known them to be. Against Chelsea, they managed to win by a solitary goal and thanks to Mahrez who heaped more misery on Graham Potter's side. Chelsea are in serious soup as they have been losing games too often and we know how the management of Chelsea can be very impatient with their manager.

Fulham v Chelsea.

Chelsea lost another game and this time around a London derby to Fulham. Fulham were up to the task and things are not looking good for Chelsea and even the new coach. The injection of João Felix into the team, on loan was a welcomed idea but he soon saw red in his first game in the Blues colour. Willian started with the goal against his former side after his effort was bundled into the back of the net. Koulibaly couldn't stop his side from succumbing to a defeat despite his goal. Fulham's second goal from Vinicius all but sealed the fate of Chelsea in this encounter and it's another bad day in the office for Graham Potter.

With Aubameyang and Sterling struggling, Chelsea are short of firepower upfront and this necessitated the loan for João Felix. He showed intentionality but he got a reality check with the red card for his clumsy challenge. I believe he got too excited and lunge into his opponent.

Week 19 was filled with upset, drama and exciting football. That's what we get every time there is a Premier League football.

Here you have the game week 19 results:

Hahaha she's always sincere. She prefer music to football. I can teach her the basics but it's about interest. She's so good with songs.

It won't be bad at all. It can be fun and enjoyable too. It's about the approach to it.

I even forgot to do my review too. I haven't checked on how many points I gained. I honestly don't know what's wrong with Liverpool and Chelsea too. They just can't find their rhythm and the confidence is low. That's one thing about losing games, other teams would grow in confidence to take you on.

I can't understand what's wrong with both teams. They are struggling real bad and Arsenal keeps extending the lead while City hasn't been dominating like they used to.

Arsenal is getting warmed up for the title. If they keep going at this rate though. Let's wait and see. Arsenal can be Arsenal again 🤣

It's dicey like you say and nothing is certain especially in the Premier League. They can win it and still, they can blow it. They have their destiny in their hands.
