Reunions and Predictions.

The competition is back, bigger and better. I know every competition is open to some twists and turns so I believe this wouldn't be different. There would be some massive upsets which we might not see coming, a massive scoreline which would either be flattering or deserved and so many other unexpected turns. This is why we love the Uefa Champions League for all that it brings. Having the best players in European football always gives this competition that little edge and I am bracing up for the challenges already.

Group A.

Ajax
Liverpool
Napoli
Rangers

I know for sure that Liverpool would qualify from this group but my concern is who will join them. Rangers are a decent side but against these top-quality opponents, I am not sure they can pull it off. I would be more than happy for my friend to have Rangers qualify and pull an upset but it is a tall order. Napoli can be very tough to break down too and we all know how exciting the Ajax team can be. It doesn't take away from the fact that they are still formidable even though they lost their coach to Manchester United. For this round, I will be going for Liverpool and Napoli. I am picking Napoli because I believe they have wealth of experience, more than the exciting Ajax team even though Ajax has been consistent too. Liverpool first, Napoli second.

Group B.

Porto
Atletico Madrid
Bayern Leverkusen
Club Brugge

This is tricky between Porto and Bayern Leverkusen but I know Atletico Madrid shouldn't have a problem progressing from this round barring any unforeseen loss of form 😂🤣. It's tough to say but I would go with Atletico Madrid and Bayern Leverkusen for this round. Atletico Madrid is in the first position with Bayern Leverkusen following suit.

Group C.

Bayern Munich
Barcelona
Inter Milan
Viktoria Plzen

The group of death. The most talked about group in this round due to their wealth of experience and resilience. Barcelona might be in the transition stage but I don't see them not getting out of this stage. In fact, I believe Bayern Munich and Barcelona would advance from this stage while Inter Milan would settle for the Europa League spot. Hopefully, Inter Milan would meet Manchester United 🤣😂🤣😂 and Lukaku can be motivated against his former employer. The last standing of the table would be just as it is listed above...in that order.

Group D.

Eintracht Frankfurt
Tottenham Hotspur
Sporting Lisbon
Marseille

With the recruitment that Tottenham made this season, it is obvious they made those purchases with the Champions League in mind. They know how tiring and demanding it can be to play midweek and still have another important game over the weekend. They have a lot of talent that can slot in and do a decent job for them and I am excited to see how things play out for them. I am only confident about Tottenham advancing from this group and the others can fight for the other spot. I feel Frankfurt might make the second spot though even though I am not sure.

Group E.

AC Milan
Chelsea
RB Salzburg
Dinamo Zagreb

We sometimes focus on the big teams but some teams can create a lot of problems here. Even with that in mind, I still feel Chelsea and AC Milan wouldn't still miss out. It might be painful and tricky but I am rooting for both teams to advance from the group. Chelsea would go in the first position while AC Milan would settle for second place.

Group F.

Real Madrid
RB Leipzig
Shakhtar Donetsk
Celtic

I've always been a fan of Leipzig since their breakthrough year a few seasons ago and I am still rooting for them. They are fun, exciting and determined. I see them settling for the second spot while Real Madrid would cling to the top spot. What do I have to say about Real Madrid? 😂🤣😂🤣. We know how devastating they can be...

Group G.

Manchester City
Sevilla
Borussia Dortmund
Copenhagen

Haaland would be facing his former employer and it would be interesting to see if he will put them to the sword. We know the curse of Manchester City when it comes to UEFA Champions League but that curse only materializes during the knockout stages. I see Manchester City taking the first spot while Dortmund would settle for second place. I have my eyes on Sevilla too because you can't rule them out. It would be a tough battle between these three teams but I think Dortmund can edge it even though I am not too confident about that team.

Group H.

Paris Saint Germain
Juventus
Benfica
Maccabi Haifa

This is the last game of the group and Di Maria would also face his former employer; PSG. Benfica can be a party spoiler because I saw what they did last season and I was wowed. I still feel PSG would take the top spot while Juventus would settle for the second position.

My predictions were solely based on my mixture of sentiments and projection. It has nothing to do that I am against certain teams. I am open to more upsets and seeing competition get fierce with so-called underdogs giving us some shockers. I would love to read about your predictions in the comment section. Who are you rooting for?

Thank you for your time.

That group C is crazy and that's my focus for this UCL since Manchester United didn't qualify. Since we are now Europa League standard, do a review of the Europa League fixtures too if you can.

Europa League candidate 🤣🤣😂😂😂. It's painful sha but we move. I will try and do the Europa League review by tomorrow. I still have other reviews to write like my Fantasy Premier League and Weekend game reviews. I will work on them this week.

You have so much to write on. I can't wait to read them. I made my FPL post already. 68 points.

Yes, I don't know how I want to do it with so much to do but I will pull it off. I love writing about football so it should be easy. What? 68? I'm ashamed. Let me go and read yours with shame.

In that group A, I predict Liverpool and Napoli qualify, Ajax can't be the same as Eric Ten Hag left it. Porto and Athletico Madrid in group B Chelsea and AC Milan in group E. D is in unpredictable, PSG and Juventus in group H, Real Madrid and RB Leipzig in F, Manchester City and Dortmund in G

PSV beat Ajax so we shall see. IF Rangers get a point, then it is a win in my book!
The funniest thing is you don't mention Celtic at all 🤣🤣🤣
