Shared Point.

Leeds United are having it tough in their second season in the Premier League as many people expect. They hit the ground running in their debut season and everyone fancied they would be another surprise package like Leicester City who has been growing stronger in the league. Bielsa's men are still as impressive as their first season but results haven't been going their way even with the introduction of Daniel James into their ranks.

Leeds United hosted Leicester City and both teams shared the point in their Premier League encounter. Leicester City hasn't been getting the result as expected too in the Premier League this term because they have raised their status from a mid-table team to the profile of one of the big boys.

With speculation still lingering regarding the status of their coach which was gathered to have given verbal consent to take over Manchester United at the end of the season, Leicester City still managed to get a point away from home against Leeds United. Rafinha gave Leeds United the lead before Barnes rescued the point just seconds after going behind. The game ended 1-1 between the two sides.

Leeds United were determined to get the better of Leicester City and they started on the front foot. It took the brilliance, alertness and expertise of Schmeichel to deny Harrison's brilliant effort from going into the back of the net. He produced another brilliant save from his near post after Phillips met with a brilliant corner kick delivery but he was unable to stop Rafinha's brilliant freekick delivery as all he could do was to pick the ball from the back of the net.

Rafinha's freekick eluded everyone as it rolled into the back of the net with ease and accuracy. What a goal that was and Schmeichel was deceived as it found the back of the net with no other touch on the ball.

The lead only lasted 2 minutes as Leicester City responded in fashion in the 28th minute with Barnes' curling effort into the top right corner of the net that left Meslier rooted on the spot with no hope of catching it. It was delivered with precision and class. It was deserving of an equalizer.

Schmeichel was determined not to be beaten yet again after another corner kick came in and as the first, be kept to his near post to keep Ricardo's effort out from being an own goal.

Leicester City thought they got the lead after Vardy knocked a header into the path of Lookman who easily tapped the ball into the back of the net but for the intervention of the VAR, the goal was ruled out for offside against Ademola Lookman. He was obviously disappointed not to get his goal for Leicester City.

Both teams had to settle for one point apiece and the two goals did justice to a wonderful game between both teams.
