After todays showjob i walked through the “Brandenburg Tor” down the “Strasse des 17. Juni” simply because it was mild and I just felt like walking home in the beautiful light of the sunset. The route leads past various sights and you feel a bit like a tourist in your own city in the middle of all the actual tourists bustling around the sights, except that you know your way around and you know where you want to go. At the "Grosser Stern", the huge traffic circle with the “Siegessäule” in the middle with our "Goldelse", my guardian angel, on top, I sat down on a bench and enjoyed the fading light and the crescent moon hovering exactly over the column above us and to wait for the moment when the lanterns come on and the mood changes abruptly before I set off on the last stage of my walk. 🖖🏼☀️🤙🏼
