The morning had a kind of magic that made me move slower and see sharper. The air was fresh again, like nature had rinsed the city overnight. I spotted a flurry of herons just after sunrise, still as statues by the water’s edge. Lilac scent lingered everywhere, soft and steady. I picked the Tiergarten route today. Breathing deep and slipping into silence, I paused for meditation at hidden spots by the water, starting at the secret garden. On the way back, walking along the Spree, I visited that other, smaller hidden garden and found whole nests of dandelions, tiny suns waiting to scatter. It wasn’t rushed, it wasn’t routine. It was like the city whispered, and for once, I had the sense to listen.

Ein frischer Morgen hatte etwas Magisches, das mich langsamer werden ließ und meine Sinne schärfte. Die Luft war wieder großartig, als hätte die Stadt über Nacht eine Dusche genommen. Viele Reiher standen wie Statuen am Wasser. Überall lag Fliederduft in der Luft, weich und sanft. Heute nahm ich die Tiergartenroute. Ich atmete tief durch, wurde still und begann an verschiedenen Stellen am Wasser zu meditieren, angefangen im versteckten Garten. Auf dem Rückweg an der Spree entlang besuchte ich den anderen, kleineren versteckten Garten und entdeckte ganze Nester von Pusteblumen, kleine Sonnen, bereit sich zu zerstreuen. Es war kein gehetzter Tag, keine Routine. Es war, als würde die Stadt flüstern und ich hörte tatsächlich hin.
