Thursday ☀️ 8416

The city stood still like a Sunday sigh. Today was May Day, a public holiday, and the silence settled in like soft snow. I jumped on my bike and rode out to Jungfernheide, where rabbits darted like whispers through the grass and the usual giant birds cut calm curves across the sky. On my walk, I heard the low, haunting hoot of an owl again, hidden in the hush. The air was crisp and kind to my lungs. For the second time, I spotted wild boars in the park, this time a whole family, with three striped piglets snuffling around, they were crossing a path in the distance. At the lake, I stood with my breath and let the meditation meet the water. On the way back, a fox sat oddly on the road. Not skittish, not scared. He stared into a bush like it held answers. I got off my bike, but he simply slipped away. So no wild rescue story, just a moment, and some fox photos I brought you.

Die Stadt lag still wie ein Sonntag. Heute war der erste Mai, ein Feiertag, und die Ruhe legte sich wie Schnee über die Straßen. Ich schwang mich aufs Rad und fuhr zur Jungfernheide. Überall Kaninchen, flink wie Schatten im Gras, und die vertrauten großen Vögel zogen lautlos ihre Kreise. Beim Spaziergang hörte ich wieder das tiefe Rufen eines Uhus, verborgen im Dickicht. Die Luft war frisch und leicht zu atmen. Zum zweiten Mal sah ich heute Wildschweine im Park, diesmal eine ganze Familie mit drei gestreiften Frischlingen die in der Ferne einen Weg kreuzten. Am See stand ich ruhig da, atmete, meditierte. Auf dem Rückweg traf ich auf einen Fuchs, der ungewöhnlich still auf der Straße saß. Er starrte in ein Gebüsch, als ob es ihm etwas sagen wollte. Ich stieg ab, er verschwand langsam darin. Ich konnte ihm nicht folgen. Keine große Rettungsaktion, aber ein stiller Moment. Und deshalb bringe ich euch heute Fuchsfotos mit.
