The morning had a bite of brightness, brisk and buzzing with first-day energy. I didn’t have time for anything before heading off to the venue for the first conference show day. Still, I squeezed in some solid steps to and from the location. I always walk a few stations and weave in some movement to dodge that dead-legged, desk-bound feeling. The final rehearsals ran smooth as silk. The client stayed calm, cool, and collected, which isn’t always the case, and the show? Flawless. One for one. To top it off, I snapped a wild photo for you, one of those chandelier creatures hanging high above the stage, seen from below right up above the main projection. It looks like glowing galaxies of digital and analog light.

Angenehm frischer Morgen, voller Energie am ersten Showtag. Keine Zeit für irgendwas vor dem Aufbruch zur Venue, aber immerhin ein paar ordentliche Schritte hin und zurück gemacht. Ich laufe immer ein paar Stationen, versuche mich zwischendurch zu bewegen, damit ich nicht den ganzen Tag nur steif und still in der Regie sitze. Letzte Proben liefen rund. Der Kunde blieb entspannt, was nicht selbstverständlich ist, und die Show war rund. Tag eins: abgehakt. Und als Sahnehäubchen habe ich euch ein wildes Foto mitgebracht, aufgenommen auf der Bühne direkt unter der Hauptprojektion nach oben heschossen, ein verrückter Kronleuchter wie aus einer anderen Welt. Es sieht aus wie leuchtende Galaxien aus digitalem und analogem Licht.
