A Heron, my Shadow and Me - My Actifit Report Card: May 10th, 2025

The sunlight shimmered like soft gold on the Spree this morning. I strolled the Mierendorffinsel route, breathing deeply, letting the water’s rhythm reset my thoughts. Meditation by the river never felt forced, it just flowed. Afterward, I grabbed fresh bread and coffee beans. Back home, the terrace called. I got my hands dirty with a little garden grind, planting sage that smelled like old stories and summer kitchens. And as I stood on a bridge on my way home, I saw it, the perfect frame to bring with me for you. A shadow selfie, not alone, but with a heron right beside me. Not posed, not planned, just one of those small, striking moments that remind you to look around.
Das Sonnenlicht glitzerte wie weiches Gold auf der Spree an diesem Morgen. Ich schlenderte die Mierendorffinselrunde, atmete tief und ließ den Rhythmus des Wassers meine Gedanken ordnen. Meditation am Fluss fühlte sich nie erzwungen an. Danach kaufte ich frisches Brot und Kaffeebohnen. Zurück zu Hause rief die Terrasse. Ich machte ein wenig Gartenarbeit, pflanzte duftenden Salbei, der nach alten Geschichten roch. Und als ich auf dem weg nach hause auf einer Brücke stand, sah ich es, das perfekte Motiv um es euch mitzubringen. Ein Schatten-Selfie, nicht allein, sondern mit einem Reiher an meiner Seite. Nicht gestellt, nicht geplant, nur einer dieser kleinen, besonderen Momente, die dich erinnern, aufmerksam zu sein.
