Saturday ☀️ 10561

The second show day started very early, stealing any hope for a morning walk. I was already set to run the conference show before most people had coffee. In the afternoon, by the time we tore everything down and trudged back and forth with full hands and tired feet, I’d clocked more than enough steps. Three full days of setup, showtime and tear down left me running on fumes, no spark left for snapping fresh photos. But in the evening back home, on the couch, I dug into my archives and edited a quiet shot of a grey heron I once captured from my boat.

Der zweite Showtag begann sehr früh und ließ keinen Raum für einen Morningwalk. Ich war bereit für die Konferenzshow bevor andere überhaupt ihren Kaffee hatten. Am Nachmittag beim Abbau und auf dem Hin- und Rückweg zur Venue sammelte ich mühelos genug Schritte für den ganzen Tag. Nach drei vollen Tagen inklusive Aufbau, Show und Abbau war ich ziemlich erschöpft, ohne Energie für neue Fotos. Doch abends zuhause, auf dem Sofa, bearbeitete ich noch ein stilles Bild aus dem Archiv, ein Graureiher, den ich einmal vom Boot aus fotografiert hatte.
