The morning felt thick like warm velvet draped over the city. I had walked the Luiseninsel route just as the sultry air settled in, heavy with humidity. The earthy, fresh scent reminded me of wet leaves after summer rain, and I could tell the plants were soaking it all in. I didn’t dawdle, but I paused by the water on the island, closed my eyes, and breathed deeply. Those few minutes of meditation melted the mental mess and made space for calm. I brought back something special for you: a lone hare grazing peacefully at the Spree, completely at home in the grass.
Der Morgen lag wie warmer Samt über der Stadt. Ich bin die Luiseninselroute gegangen, während sich die schwüle Luft über alles legte. Es roch herrlich nach feuchter Erde, wie nach einem Sommerregen, und die Pflanzen schienen das nasse Klima zu lieben. Ich habe nicht lang getrödelt, aber am Wasser auf der Insel kurz innegehalten, die Augen geschlossen und tief durchgeatmet. Diese wenigen Minuten Meditation haben den Kopf freigeräumt und Ruhe gebracht. Mitgebracht habe ich euch heute einen grasenden Hasen an der Spree, ganz bei sich inmitten des Rasens.
