Thursday ☀️ 10412

The morning mist hung heavy in the air again, but a crisp and cool breeze cut through it like a secret whispered before dawn. I felt the first warm rays of sunlight sneak through the trees as I set off on a long, looping walk through the Tiergarten. Each stage of my interval walking had its own rhythm, its own little victory. At Neuer See, I paused for breathwork and a few minutes of meditation, my way of listening to the silence the city generously offered during the quiet magic of summer holidays. I may have mentioned it before, but Berlin feels like a different world this time of year, slower, softer, and strangely serene. I brought back photos of some very busy bees and bumblebees diving deep into bright yellow mullein blossoms, their tiny legs dusted in golden pollen like little sun-kissed boots.

Der Morgen war wieder von feuchter Luft durchzogen, doch ein kühler, frischer Wind brachte Bewegung in die Stille. Die ersten wärmenden Sonnenstrahlen brachen durch das Blätterdach, während ich zu meiner großen Tiergartenrunde aufbrach. Jede Etappe meines Intervall-Walkings hatte ihr eigenes Tempo, ihre eigenen kleinen Erfolgserlebnisse. Am Neuen See hielt ich inne für Atemübungen und Meditation, ein Moment, um der stillen Schönheit zu lauschen, die die Stadt während der Sommerferien verströmt. Ich hab’s bestimmt schon mal gesagt, aber Berlin fühlt sich in diesen Wochen wie verwandelt an: langsam, sanft und wohltuend ruhig. Und na klar, ich habe euch ein paar Bilder mitgebracht, von eifrigen Bienen und Hummeln, die sich voller Hingabe in sonnengelbe Königskerzen stürzten, ihre Beinchen bestäubt wie mit kleinen goldenen Stiefeln.
