The morning air felt crisp and clean, a chill that cut sharper than summer ever dared. It did not look like autumn yet, but the cool bite under ten degrees whispered otherwise. After weeks filled with work, the short Three-Bridges-Walk and a stop for groceries felt just right. I had switched from morning coffee to green tea at the start of the season, and the taste felt both gentle and grounding. On my way, I met the four member swan family from the palace gardens doing their morning routines on the River Spree.
Die Morgenluft fühlte sich frisch und sauber an, eine Kälte, die schärfer war, als es der Sommer je gewagt hätte. Es sah noch nicht nach Herbst aus, aber die kühlen Temperaturen von unter zehn Grad verrieten etwas anderes. Nach Wochen voller Arbeit kamen mir der kurze Drei-Brücken-Spaziergang und ein Zwischenstopp zum Einkaufen gerade recht. Zu Beginn der Saison war ich vom Morgenkaffee auf grünen Tee umgestiegen, und der Geschmack war sanft und erdend zugleich. Unterwegs begegnete ich der vierköpfigen Schwanenfamilie aus dem Schlosspark bei ihrer morgendlichen Routine auf der Spree.
