The air bit my cheeks on that brisk autumn morning, the kind that smelled of rain and restless leaves. I kept my walk short, just over the three bridges and back, grabbing a few weekend essentials before the heavy clouds finally broke open. It wasn’t a morning for many photos, too gray, too hurried, but nature had other plans. The giant “chicken of the woods” still clung to its tree like a golden lantern in the gloom, defying the drizzle. I couldn’t ignore it. So I stopped and took a few quick shots to bring a bit of that stubborn beauty back for you.
Die Luft biss mir an diesem frischen Herbstmorgen in die Wangen, nach Regen und unruhigem Laub duftend. Mein Walk blieb kurz, nur über die drei Brücken und zurück, mit ein paar Einkäufen fürs Wochenende, bevor der schwere Regen kam. Kein Morgen für viele Fotos, zu grau, zu hastig, doch der große „Chicken of the Woods“-Pilz hing noch an seinem Baum, golden und trotzig. Ich blieb stehen und machte ein paar Bilder für euch.
