The air tasted like wet earth that morning, a fresh and cool hint of autumn wrapping around me like an old friend. After six long workdays, I finally found myself wandering the winding paths of the palace gardens again, circling the quiet Luiseninsel. The ground glistened, the trees breathed, and the damp soil smelled rich and alive. I passed the adorned bust of the queen and peeked into the hollow tree still brimming with color. Even the Gotland sheep were still there, calm and curious. By the water, I paused for breathing and meditation, letting the ripples match my rhythm. Before leaving, I stumbled upon a stunning still life resting on a dead tree stump: mushrooms like painted domes, moss glowing green as velvet, and fallen leaves curled like old letters. It felt like nature had quietly composed a masterpiece just for me. I brought a few pictures to share that simple beauty.

Die Luft schmeckte an diesem Morgen nach feuchter Erde, ein frischer, kühler Hauch von Herbst umhüllte mich wie ein alter Freund. Nach sechs langen Arbeitstagen fand ich mich endlich wieder auf den verschlungenen Pfaden des Schlossparks und umrundete die stille Luiseninsel. Der Boden glitzerte, die Bäume atmeten, und die feuchte Erde roch reich und lebendig. Ich kam natürlich an der geschmückten Büste der Königin vorbei und warf auch wie üblich einen Blick in den hohlen Baum, der noch immer vor Farbe strotzte. Auch die Gotlandschafe waren noch da, ruhig und neugierig. Am Wasser hielt ich inne, um zu atmen und zu meditieren, während ich das Plätschern des Wassers meinem Rhythmus folgen ließ. Bevor ich mich auf den Weg machte, stieß ich auf ein atemberaubendes Stillleben, das auf einem toten Baumstumpf ruhte: Pilze wie gemalte Kuppeln, Moos, das grün wie Samt leuchtete, und abgefallene Blätter, die sich wie alte Buchstaben kräuselten. Es war, als hätte die Natur in aller Stille ein Meisterwerk nur für mich komponiert. Ich habe ein paar Bilder mitgebracht, um euch diese einfache Schönheit zu zeigen.
