Monday ☀️ 10143

A cold curtain of November rain had wrapped the world, and I drifted through it with a quiet calm because I had not felt like taking a morning walk and had chosen extra sleep instead. Still, I was not lazy since I collected plenty of steps while running small but steady errands that I finally crossed off my list like pebbles cleared from a path. Then a giant lantern appeared like a glowing guardian in the grey, its strong shape standing out in stark black and white. I paused, pulled out my camera and captured it, because I could not ignore such a simple and striking sight and of course I wanted to bring you something back from my city stroll.

Ein kalter Schleier aus Novemberregen hatte die Welt eingehüllt und ich glitt ruhig hindurch, da ich mich nicht nach einem Morningwalk gefühlt und mich für mehr Schlaf entschieden hatte. Trotzdem war ich nicht träge, denn ich sammelte genug Schritte, während ich kleine aber stetige Erledigungen machte, die ich wie Kieselsteine von einem Weg abgehakt hatte. Dann tauchte eine gigantische Laterne auf wie ein leuchtender Wächter im Grau. Sie stand in klarem Schwarz Weiss und ich hielt inne, zückte meine Kamera und nahm sie mit, weil ich so einen einfachen aber eindrucksvollen Moment nicht ignorieren konnte und euch natürlich auch etwas von unterwegs mitbringen wollte.
