A cold rainy November morning near freezing had wrapped the city in a stubborn gray, and I moved through it with slow stubborn steps. I had not felt adventurous, so I stuck to the smallest circuit, a short three bridge walk that felt more like a chore than a choice. And because the weather refused to play along, I brought you a photo from another day, one of the decorated Queen Luise bust.
Ein kalter regnerischer Novembermorgen bei fast null Grad hatte die Stadt in graue Schwere getaucht, und ich schlenderte mit langsamen Schritten hindurch. Abenteuerlust hatte ich nicht verspürt, also blieb ich beim Mindestmaß, einem kurzen Drei Brücken Walk, der mehr Pflicht als Freude war. Und weil das Wetter heute so mürrisch war, habe ich euch ein Foto von einem anderen Tag mitgebracht, eins von der geschmückten Büste der Königin Luise.
