Friday ☀️ 12270

And once again, it was officially winter cold this morning, around -7 degrees Celsius. Today, I walked the Tiergarten route at an interval pace. Although most of the time I was marching briskly to stay warm or to warm up again after photo breaks. It's the second day of the holidays and the city was incredibly quiet, like it was deserted. I was thoroughly frozen again when I got home and warmed myself up with some delicious green tea. I encountered squirrels scurrying around, wild dogs in the enclosure at the zoo adjacent to the Landwehr Canal, and a lot of the usual birds, large and small. Since the Spree and Landwehr Canal are already partially frozen over, I could see many of the birds walking or sitting on them and even taking naps. Today, I brought you pictures of the magnificent and colorful sunrise on the way to the Tiergarten, a long exposure of the Unterschleuse, and a few seagulls on ice.

Und wieder richtig amtlich Winterkalt um die -7 grad heute morgen. Ich bin heute die Tiergartenroute im Intervall-Walking gegangen. Obwohl eher die meiste Zeit wieder im strammen Marsch um warm zu bleiben oder nach Fotopausen wieder warm zu werden. Es ist der zweite Feiertag und die Stadt war unglaublich ruhig, wie ausgestorben. Ich war auch heute wieder gut durchgefroren als ich wieder zuhause ankam und liess mich vom leckeren grünen Tee von innen aufwärmen. Umherflitzende Eichhörnchen, Wildhunde im Gehege im Zoo das an den Landwehrkanal angrenzt und eine Menge der üblichen Vögel, gross und klein, hab ich unterwegs getroffen. Da Spree und Landwehrkanal zum Teil schon zugefroren sind konnte man viele der Vögel darauf herumspazieren oder sitzen und sogar win Nickerchen machen sehen. Mitgebracht hab ich euch heute Bilder vom grossartigen und farbenfrohen Sonnenaufgang auf dem Weg zum Tiergarten, eine Langzeitbelichtung der Unterschleuse und ein paar Möwen auf Eis.
