A New Year and the Same Old Feathery Fellas - My Actifit Report Card: January 1st, 2026

It was cold, around 0 degrees, and very windy today on the first morning of the new year. I didn't get out until late because I went to bed late due to New Year's Eve and the corresponding noise here in Berlin. Judging by the trash on the streets, at least in my corner of the city, there seems to have been less fireworks than last year. I took a relaxed walk around the palace gardens to wish the queen and her park pets a healthy and happy new year. I brought two of my feathered friends with me and, of course, I wish you all a healthy and happy new year too.
Es war kalt um die 0grad und sehr windig heute am ersten Morgen des neuen Jahres. Bin erst spät raus, weil auch erst spät ins Bett wegen dem Jahreswechsel und dem entsprechenden Lärm hier in Berlin. Dem Müll auf den Strassen nach zu urteilen scheint, zumindest in meiner Ecke der Stadt, weniger als letztes Jahr geböllert worden zu sein. Ich bin eine entspannte Schlossparkrunde gegangen um der Königin und ihren Parkhaustieren ein gesundes und glückliches neues Jahr zu wünschen. Zwei der gefiederten Freunde hab ich euch mitgebracht und wünsche euch natürlich ebenso ein gesundes und glückliches neues Jahr.
