It was a cold, damp January morning, almost all the snow and ice has already melted, except for a few spots that are rarely walked on and have not been swept or gritted. I didn't feel particularly up for a very long walk today, so I decided to do the peninsula route at an interval walking pace. Between intervals, I treated myself to short breathing and meditation exercises while my gaze fell on the last remnants of ice in an arc of the River Spree. That's where I took the photo I've brought you today of a facility of the Technical University, and it‘s gorgeous reflection on the leftover ice.
An einem kaltfeuchten Januarmorgen ist fast der gesamte Schnee und das Eis bereits geschmolzen, abgesehen von ein paar Stellen, die kaum begangen werden und auch nicht gefegt oder gestreut wurden. Ich fühlte mich heute nicht besonders nach einem sehr langen Walk und entschied mich daher für die Halbinselrunde im Intervall-Walking. Zwischen den Intervallen gönnte ich mir kurze Atem- und Meditationsübungen, während mein Blick auf die letzten Eisreste in einem Bogen der Spree fiel. Dort habe ich auch das Foto von der Einrichtung der Technischen Universität mitsamt ihrer grossartigen Spiegelung auf den restlichen Eisschollen gemacht, das ich euch heute mitgebracht habe.
