Frozen Solid Park Lake - My Actifit Report Card: January 25th, 2026

Another frosty Sunday, still at -2 degrees Celsius. It was dry and not very windy, and the roads were reasonably free of snow and ice, so it was finally time to cycle to Jungfernheidepark again. The ride there was refreshing, and the interval walking on some of the paths was a bit like egg-and-spoon race training because many of the paths were still partially icy. At the water's edge on the island, I did some short breathing and meditation exercises with a view of the ice. The park is also photogenic when frozen in winter, and of course I brought back a few impressions for you to look at. On the way back, I had a slight headwind, which was enough to freeze my fingers despite my gloves, and I was glad to be back home on the couch with a hot cup of tea.
Ein eisiger Sonntag immer noch bei -2 Grad. Es war trocken und wenig windig, und die Straßen sind einigermassen Schnee- und Eisfrei, also war es endlich mal wieder an der Zeit, mit dem Rad zum Jungfernheidepark zu düsen. Der Hinweg war erfrischend, und das Intervall-Walking vor Ort auf einigen Wegen eher ein wenig wie Eierlauftraining, weil viele Wege noch teilweise vereist waren. Am Wasser auf der Insel dann kurze Atem- und Meditationsübungen mit Blick aufs Eis. Der Park ist auch vereist im Winter fotogen, und ich habe euch selbstverständlich ein paar Impressionen zum anschauen mitgebracht. Auf dem Rückweg hatte ich dann leichten Gegenwind, und der reichte bei den Temperaturen schon, um mir die Finger trotz Handschuhen einzufrieren, und ich war froh, dann wieder zuhause bei einem heißen Tee auf der Couch zu sitzen.
