I wanted to walk around Mierendorff Island again today, doing interval walking, of course. It’s supposed to get very warm this weekend, and the morning already made that clear with sunshine in a blue sky and temperatures around 14 degrees. I did some relaxing breathing and meditation exercises at my usual spots by the water, and somehow it felt almost like a summer stroll in the middle of the day rather than a morning walk. In any case, it was refreshing nonetheless, since there was a bit of a breeze and the island has its breezy spots where you can find shelter from the sun. Later, I headed out of the city to a lake to eat asparagus and chill by the water. I brought you one of the pieces—actually, the coolest one—from the “Wall of Fame” in the north of the island. It really caught my eye, not just because of the really well-done eye, but because overall it’s more arty than typical graffiti. Awesome piece, what do you think?

Die Mierendorffinsel wollte heute wieder einmal umrundet werden, im Intervall-Walking natürlich. Es soll sehr warm werden dieses Wochenende und der Morgen machte das schon deutlich mit Sonnenschein an blauem Himmel bei um die 14 Grad. Hab entspannte Atem- und Meditationsübungen an den üblichen Stellen am Wasser gemacht und irgendwie fühlte es sich schon fast wie ein Sommerspaziergang mitten am Tag an als ein Morgenwalk. Es war jedenfalls nichtsdestotrotz erfrischend, da auch ein wenig Wind ging und die Insel so ihre zugigen Ecken hat, an denen man Schutz vor der Sonne finden kann. Später ging’s dann raus aus der Stadt an einen See zum Spargel essen und auf dem Wasser chillen. Mitgebracht hab ich euch eins der Pieces, genau genommen sogar das abgefahrenste, von der „Wall of Fame“ im Norden der Insel. Das sprang mich direkt an, nicht zuletzt wegen des richtig gut gemachten Auges, sondern weil es insgesamt eher arty als so typisch Graffiti ist. Geiles Piece, was sagt ihr?
