Gareth Northgate
Last two days England lost made fans changed the coach (Gareth Southgate) name to something else, some said he is Northgate while some said he's east gate. They said what would make them happy is to read news in the following day and see that Southgate has been sacked, some said it is a big shame, a big slap on them as a fan, Hungary to loose to to Hungary that isn't well known in football, Hungary that didn't have good history in football history. It's not even a goal or two, it's four good goals with zero. It's a big slap on England.
I think how much they hype English players makes them play rubbish and still end up in rubbish, both coach and players are in big mess, this kind of mess has happened to them more than nine decades ago, it was 1928 that Scotland beat them at their very own home with 5 goals to one and now hungry Hungary that is not even know in football beat them with four goals to no goal, it's a big slap on them, I even wonder why they retain Gareth Southgate as their coach till now, they should have just sack him ever since he lost the EURO2020 they played in 2021.
In the Euro 2020 final, fans had it in their mind that football is coming home, not knowing the EURO 2020 is going to Rome. There is nothing special in Italy that England cannot beat, the same Italy that Argentina beat with 3 goals to nothing and as England lost with 4 goals to Hungary so do Italy lost to Germany with 5 goals to two on the same day. Italy has been confused and not themselves anymore ever since they have failed to qualify for the World Cup and now they are encountering loss in all their matches, maybe what their coach have to work on first is their mentality.
The English players told fans to stop putting the blame of their coach, they said they should put the blame on them as they are the one who played the ball. But the fact is that the coach is the one to blame, that's how it's done everywhere, even at club side, they are only trying to protect their coach. Maybe Southgate need to change his tactics because England have good footballers that he can call but his tactics didn't make him call some of them but if he change his tactics, things may work differently.
