He's a legend

Real Madrid want to add more legends status to the status that they have made, like Raul Gonzale etc. They have done Christiano Ronaldo's own for very long time and now they want to add more 3 to it, they want to add Marcelo, Isco and Gareth Baale. Marcelo's contract has ended, Isco and Baale's contract would end by the end of June. Fans didn't dispute the making of Marcelo and Isco's status but they are against Gareth Baale's status, they said he's not a legend, they said he prefer playing golf than football.

But to me, Gareth Baale is a legend because he won Champions League for Real Madrid when Real Madrid really needed it. Although Real Madrid isn't new in winning Champions League but it's been so long that they have won it before Gareth Baale join them. Before Gareth Baale join Real Madrid in 2013, The last time that Real Madrid has won Champions League last was 2002 and when Gareth Baale joined, they started wining Champions League. They won the championship league in 2014 and Gareth Baale was one of the scorer when the match reached extra time after Sergio Ramos scored the equalizing goal in die minute.

When Real Madrid played against Liverpool in 2018, another Champions League final, he still scored for Real Madrid. If a player have at least 100 goals for a club, we can consider him as a legend because scoring goals isn't easy. At Real Madrid, he won sixteen (16) trophies and he didn't spend times like Marcelo and Isco did, he spent just 9 years at Real Madrid and he contributed to goals more than isco the midfielder and Marcelo, although they play different wings but FIFA and UEFA value goal scorers than passers and defenders.

Reason why fans didn't consider him a legend is because he didn't have good relationship with the fans, when it comes to football, he really try, he merit the status to be done for him but the fact is that this man didn't have good character toward human being.
